About Us

As-salāmu ʿalaykum wa raḥmatullāhi wa barakātuh.

Welcome to Al-Khizānah.

Al-Khizānah is a small modest clothing brand run by a young couple based in the Netherlands. It began as a project between the two of us, with the hope that, by the will of Allāh, it could grow into a means of sustenance and something we could build together over time.

When deciding which direction to take, we felt naturally drawn to modest clothing. We wanted to offer garments that prioritise loose fits, appropriate coverage, simplicity, comfort and practicality for everyday life.

Because Al-Khizānah is still small, we are closely involved in every stage of the process. We select fabrics, review samples, adjust measurements, test opacity and pay attention to the details that affect how a garment fits and performs when worn.

We do not expect every decision to be perfect from the beginning. When we discover that something can be improved, whether through our own experience or feedback from our customers, we take it into account and make changes where possible.

Our work is guided by three values:

Quality

We look for fabrics and construction that feel good, wear well and are suitable for the purpose of each garment.

Simplicity

We favour clean and understated designs, avoiding unnecessary elements while keeping the garments comfortable and practical.

Ethics

We aim to describe our products clearly, avoid exaggerated claims and treat our customers and suppliers fairly. When a garment or fabric has a limitation, we would rather explain it honestly than make it sound better than it is.

Al-Khizānah is still at the beginning, and we know that there is much more for us to learn and improve. We are grateful to everyone who chooses to purchase from us, share feedback or simply follow our journey.
